The National Blades are celebrating their 25th anniversary since the program was founded.
The National Blades began the synchronized skating program in 1997 as the Prince William Precision Teams. The name was changed in 2000 to the National Blades. The National Blades now have six teams at both qualifying and non-qualifying levels. We skate on behalf of US Figure Skating at USFA Synchronized Skating Competitions throughout the Eastern Section of the United States. The National Blades call Prince William Ice Center in Woodbridge, VA, and Haymarket IcePlex in Haymarket, VA their home rinks. Both are in Prince William County, serving east and west parts of the county.
