About Us

The synchronized skating program of the National Blades was founded in 1997 under the name "Prince William Precision Teams". In 2000, the name was changed to "National Blades". Today, the National Blades have six teams at both qualifying and non-qualifying levels, and represent US Figure Skating at USFA Synchronized Skating Competitions throughout the Eastern Section of the United States.

The National Blades are based out of two home rinks: the Prince William Ice Center in Woodbridge, VA, and the Haymarket IcePlex in Haymarket, VA. Both rinks are located in Prince William County and serve the eastern and western parts of the county. The National Blades are proud to call these rinks their home and to represent their community in the sport of synchronized skating.
