COMPETITION DETAILS
FACILITIES
The competition will be held at: Prince William Ice Center | 5180 Dale Blvd Woodbridge, VA 22193 | (703) 730-8423. www.innovativesportsva.com. The facility contains two ice surfaces. Olympic 200’ x 100’ and NHL 200’ x 85’. There are 9 locker rooms total and an on-site café. The competition will take place on the NHL surface. Practices and critiques will be held on the Olympic surface.
LOCKER ROOMS AND CHANGING AREAS
Locker rooms and changing areas at U.S. Figure Skating competitive events are for athletes only and will be labeled regarding specific use and where identified will be gender specific. Please review the Locker Room and Changing Area Policy in the SkateSafe® Handbook.
The designated team coach, team manager, team service personnel and athletes competing at the skating event are allowed in the Locker Rooms/Changing Area designated for their team.
WE STRONGLY RECCOMMEND THAT TEAMS ARRIVE DRESSED AND READY TO PERFORM WITH HAIR AND MAKEUP DONE. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, TEAMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO HAIR OR MAKEUP AT THE RINK. DUE TO TIME AND SPACE LIMITATIONS, CHANGING IN THE LOCKER ROOMS IS STRONGLY DISCOURAGED. Locker room use should be limited to only putting on and taking off skates. The team coach, team manager, and team service personnel should remove themselves from the Locker Room/Changing Area while any Minor Athlete(s) are actively changing or undressing.
All Locker Rooms/Changing Areas will be monitored. If any concerns arise, immediately contact the Locker Room/Changing Area monitor
The use of any recording and photographic devices inside a Locker Room/Changing Area is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy is punishable under the U.S. Figure Skating SkateSafe® policy and U.S. Figure Skating Rulebook.
US FIGURE SKATING TRAVEL POLICY
All travel must strictly adhere to Two-Deep Leadership requirements. An Adult Participant cannot transport a Minor Athlete one-on-one and Two-Deep Leadership requirements must be adhered to at all times during In-Program travel, by transporting at least two minors or a second Adult Participant. An Adult Participant cannot share a hotel room or other sleeping arrangement with a Minor Athlete(s). ONSITE CHECK-IN
Registration will be open one hour before the first event of each day and run through the last event of the day. The registration table will be in the lobby of the Prince William Ice Center. If you are participating in a role requiring compliance, please be sure to download or print your compliance card to verify your compliance status on-site, if requested. If you believe your compliance card does not accurately reflect your compliance status, please contact [email protected] at least 3 business days prior to the competition for assistance
OFFICIAL WEBSITE & UPDATES:
An official bulletin board will be maintained at the registration desk. It is the responsibility of each Team personnel and coach to check the bulletin board frequently for any schedule changes and/or additional information pertaining to the competition. SCHEDULE
Teams may be scheduled on any day or time during the announced dates of the competition. The competition and practice ice schedule will be available after the close of entries. All participants will be notified via email once available.
AWARDS:
Medals will be awarded to the first through 4th place teams in each division. Teams skating unopposed will still receive medals. In addition, the first-place team will receive a championship trophy.
Medals should be picked up at the front registration desk approx. 30 min after your event. No formal award ceremonies will be held. There will be an awards podium area where teams can take their own photos.
ADMISSION PRICING
Tickets will be available for advanced sales online through EVENTBRITE. The link to purchase tickets will be emailed to all coaches and team service personnel well in advance of the competition date. Admission prices are: $15 per adult, $10 for children 8-17, 7 and under free.
MERCHANDISE PRE SALES
Pins, T shirts and sweatshirts will be available for pre-sale through the SCNV store at scnv.org. If items are pre purchased, you will pick them up at the merchandise pick up table in the main lobby of the Prince William rink. Items will also be available for purchase onsite the day of the competition.

Reminder: Compliant positions at all U.S. Figure Skating events include LOC leadership, locker room monitors and emergency medical providers.
VIDEOGRAPHY
Live and on-demand streaming, and sales and distribution of U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned and approved events, programs, and activities that include the playback of music is strictly prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to the distribution of footage that does not include music. Questions about this can be directed to [email protected].
No video recording of any type is allowed during the competition. The LOC is in coordination with the videographer regarding whether videos without music will be available to individual teams after the event. An update on this will be provided on our webpage at www.scnv.org.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Still action photography will be provided onsite. Photos will be available for purchase directly from the photographer onsite on the day of the competition.
